Rooms shall be hired on an hourly basis, and will be negotiated with the party dependant upon their needs, taking into account how many rooms they require, how many people they wish to cater for and any associated facilities that they may require i.e. kitchen, specialist equipment. The hourly rate will be confirmed to the party and they will know the basis of charge before they agree to hire any particular room.

Cancellation is permitted, upon the following terms

A weeks notice = full refund

Less than a weeks notice = 50% refund

No notice = no refund

The above applies, if funds have already been paid for the room hire, or in the event that a party has been invoiced and not paid, they will still be charged in accordance to the above.

I hereby indemnify Lozells Methodist Church against all claims in respect of injury, loss or damage (including damage to premises) arising from this / these event(s). In requiring this undertaking the Lozells Methodist Church does not seek to absolve itself nor any of its employees from liability as owners /occupiers of the premises.

A current legal liability insurance may be required before the booking can be confirmed. I have read and accept the conditions of hire currently in force and I accept responsibility for observance of the fire and safety regulations.
